City Clerk

The City Clerk’s Office maintains, protects and preserves the official records of the City of Arkansas City. The City Clerk prepares and assembles the City Commission agenda packets. The office also is responsible for maintaining Municipal Code, responding to open records requests, recording and certifying special assessments, administering oaths, maintaining and preserving the City seal, and issuing various city business and special event permits, and alcohol licenses.
