Two Teens Arrested For Pool Burglary
The Arkansas City Police Department has been investigating recent burglaries at the Paris Park Pool.
On June 28, 2023, at 2:15 a.m., officers discovered two teenagers who burglarized the concession stand area of the pool. Officers arrested a 15-year-old Arkansas City resident and a 14-year-old Wichita resident. Along with burglary-related charges, the juveniles violated the City Curfew law.
The juveniles were charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft and released to guardians. Other charges will be presented to the Cowley County Attorney’s office for prosecution.
