Fingerprinting

The Arkansas City Police Department does offer fingerprinting services to the public.

However, there are several things you will need to have before coming to the Police Station to get the fingerprinting done.

First, make sure you have any paperwork, forms or payment for fees that need to go with the fingerprint card completed and ready to mail.

All fingerprinting paperwork must be in a large manila envelope, which will need to be pre-addressed and pre-stamped prior to coming in.

We suggest three stamps to cover the postage costs.

If fingerprint card that was provided, it will need to be brought to the station with the paperwork and the envelope.

The City of Arkansas City charges a $20 fee for fingerprinting.  The fee is paid at City Hall at the Water Department.

Once all of this has been taken care of, bring a driver’s license or government issued photo ID so that your identity can be verified.

The Fingerprint cards will not be released, but will be put into the envelope provided and will be put into the mail the following day.
