ACPD Makes Drug Possession Arrests

ARKANSAS CITY, KAN. (OCTOBER 28, 2022) On 10-27-2022, officers discovered illegal drug activity at 716 S. 1st Street when following up on the counterfeit money investigation. Officers were granted a search warrant for this residence. During the search, officers discovered items believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Officers located 66.07 grams of marijuana and 2.78 grams of methamphetamine, along with items of drug paraphernalia.

 

Those arrested from this search warrant are identified as Felisha Marie Mahoney, age 35, of Arkansas City, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Chance James Jackson, age 30, also from Arkansas City, for charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, both have since posted bond and been released.

 

Also arrested and still in custody at the Cowley County Jail are Howard Ray Halstead Jr., age 43, and Lonnie Lee Ambrosier, age 58, both Arkansas City residents. Both were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
