Vacation Watch Request Program Launches

The Arkansas City Police Department is launching an online Vacation Watch Request program to better serve the community.

“Previously, residents had to complete a paper form at the police station to request property checks while away. Unfortunately, this limited our ability to track the checks effectively,” Arkansas City Police Chief Jim Holloway said. “To improve this process, we’ve transitioned to a fully online system that allows citizens to submit their information directly, including emergency contacts, vehicle details, and pet information at the residence.”

How It Works:

Submit Your Request Online – Provide essential details such as emergency contacts, vehicle descriptions, and pet information.

Real-Time Officer Check-Ins – Officers log into a secure portal via their Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) to confirm each check.

Email Notifications – Homeowners receive an email update after every completed check, including relevant comments.
